GEC Critical & Creative Thinking Learning Objective D - Sophia equivalents? - mythomagician - 03-27-2024
Hi everyone,
Has anyone recently been able to successfully transfer in a Sophia course to fulfill this GEC? Critical & Creative Thinking Learning Objective D, or I think it would be called GEC 2D.
I've heard of some courses working in past years, but apparently it's changed since UMPI Yourpace moved to Brightspace. It would be a course equivalent to Hum 103 Creative decision making, or Eng 211 Creative writing. I'm eyeing Visual communication because it seems like a possibility according to this DegreeForum page: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UMPI_!General_Education_Requirements_Roadmap , but it doesn't seem certain.

Visual Communication has been accepted for 2D.

That's what I would recommend as well, other than that, if you have a Study.com membership and want to use one of the two classes on something - You can take the corresponding course by reviewing the equivalency for UMPI for Study.com
