UK vs US, Education Compared - bjcheung77 - 03-17-2024 Here's an article where this individual compares UK vs US education in their perspective... With higher education, it may be different as there are so many more higher ranked US institutions as there are UK ones, but we're basically talking about Valedictorian vs Salutatorian... Their ranking is different than mine, I believe US is first and UK is second, they think otherwise... Link: I grew up in the US, while my wife grew up in the UK. (msn.com) RE: UK vs US, Education Compared - armstrongsubero - 03-18-2024 I mean at the bachelors level I always felt US is more rounded...UK degrees seem to have highly specialized modules and US degrees seem to have more coures not related to the area of study...a CS degree for example might include courses on history, government etc etc in a US program whereas UK modules are typically focused on yhthe subject.... Could just be the fields of study I looked at..but thats how it appeared to me... |
