South College Developing CBE Master's in Criminal Justice - Jonathan Whatley - 03-16-2024 South College is hiring adjunct faculty to launch a CBE master's in criminal justice. [ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn.] The college currently has a non-CBE MS in Criminal Justice (and a nested graduate certificate) in its catalog but admission of new students is paused. This paused non-CBE master's has optional concentrations in Computer Forensic Investigation, Fraud Examination, or Public Administration, or a no-concentration option. South College would compete with Walden University as providers of CBE master's in criminal justice. UMPI, TAMUC, PUG, and Walden offer CBE bachelor's in criminal justice. RE: South College Developing CBE Master's in Criminal Justice - sanantone - 03-16-2024 Looking at job openings is one way to tell that a school is developing a new program, lol. I knew that WGU was developing a psychology program because they were hiring course developers. RE: South College Developing CBE Master's in Criminal Justice - bjcheung77 - 03-18-2024 Some institutions are jumping on the CBE bandwagon and others are building more programs for theirs... Interesting to see if there are newer players to the game and to see if they provide more options for degrees that are not as common for on-line learning... RE: South College Developing CBE Master's in Criminal Justice - Jonathan Whatley - 09-01-2024 Update: The South College MS in Criminal Justice will be CBE starting October 1. I guess that’s not too bad if you can get it done in 6 months. Pretty average if it takes you a year. But any longer and it might get too pricey RE: South College Developing CBE Master's in Criminal Justice - ReyMysterioso - 09-02-2024 What careers would a criminal justice masters benefit?
