ASNSM in Computer Science and TEEX Cybersecurity? - Shorn27 - 01-31-2024

Hey guys! Was floating around on the forum years ago when I started my degree, took a break but now I'm ready to complete it.

I'm aiming for BALS (done nearly everything, just need some free electives and then the capstone),

On the side I'm trying to meet the requirements for the ASNSM in Computer Science (Catalog 2021) and need just 16 credits in CS electives to comlplete it. I only have

COS-101 - Introduction to Computers
CIS-107 - Computer Concepts and Applications

I need just 10 more credits and I was looking  at the free TEEX cybersecurity, has anybody had luck with those? I've read many conflicting things on the forum

Basically, work on the trifecta of certs, degree, experience... You can get these through the cheapies/freebies on the WIKI for TEEX, Coursera and also Sophia.org classes, these will go towards the AS Comp Sci and the free electives for the BALS. Here are the two links:

You can certainly try TEEX. The free classes don't cost anything except your time. However, a better use of time for TESU may be getting a Coursera certificate or two. Some of them can be completed in under a week, if you spend all of your time on it, and so can be free to get.
