Am I On Track? Pierpont to UMPI - Princ3OfCrim3 - 12-15-2023
Hello everyone,
I have been a fellow wallflower observing the forum and am very grateful for the information shared as I have an associate degree from Pierpont as of Dec. 8th, 2023. Unfortunately, I'm on edge as I have many credits and need an outside perspective to know if I am on track to obtain a degree from UMPI.

Your Age: 33
What kind of degree do you want?: I am leaning towards the following degrees: Pierpont's BAS Degree with MIS minor and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Management & Leadership, respectfully.
Budget: I would like to keep the budget around 3k.
Commitments: I work full time and am a full-time care giver of parent.
Dedicated time to study: Plenty.
Timeline: My timeline is open as I aim to get a bachelor's degree.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: My job is in the health sector and does have a reimbursement program. However, it requires an itemized receipt and most likely covers books. But when I am closer to my goal of obtaining all credits. I will look into it further.

@Princ3OfCrim3, Fellow Pierpont BOG AAS grad of Dec 8, 2023, congrats on getting that far as your first step... You're well on your way to the UMPI degree as you have pretty much maxed your credit transfer to the degree, you've got more than 90 credits and they max has been allowed, the rest of your credits will be 'overflow' and placed into the 'other' credits area. You now need apply, get your credits transferred, and you should create your spreadsheet of the remaining credits required for the degree (put the file in your one/google drive and make it viewable, not editable) - I'd suggest following the degree plan already on the WIKI since they get updated regularly: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:UMPI
