Seeking Insights on BS in Data Analytics - akr680 - 11-08-2023
I have recently completed my MBA-ITM from DPU Patil University, India, and I am now considering further studies in the field of data analytics.
With only eight courses (Statistics.com) remaining to complete a BS in Data Analytics degree, I am eager to learn more about the experiences of others who have recently embarked on this educational journey.

That's great, it's good you've got the degrees you're looking into... It's not really necessary to get a BS Data Analytics from TESU, you can take a look at the MS Data Analytics option at WGU or another institution instead. A Masters always trumps the Bachelors, especially since you have some certs/experience under your belt, if you think you're still lacking in the certs/experience field, get more to mix/match all three to your liking...

If the OP is in India, then WGU isn't an option. WGU is US only unless something has recently changed.

akr680 is based here in the US, WGU should be the first choice over TESU, unless you have many commitments and can't get this done in a term. If that is the case, TESU with their Statistics.com partnership may be better... Having said that, I think Statistics.com has a set schedule for their courses, you need to make sure you have set aside enough time for each and every course required...

They're originally from India, having a degree at the Masters level hits their 'check box' option and the budget, ease, speed, etc. I'm still suggesting WGU Masters option over another Bachelors. But something such as the grad certificates at some other colleges look pretty good, it really depends on the student, I would mix/match the certs, degree, experience instead of just chasing after degrees.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! As always, I appreciate your help. I value your perspective on leaning towards a Master's in Data Analytics over a Bachelor's. I'll certainly take that into consideration.
On another note, I have accumulated around 90 alternate ACE credits for my Bachelor's degree. Any ideas on how I can leverage these credits obtaining a less cost degree?

I originally hail from India and completed my three-year Bachelor's degree there. Unfortunately, due to its duration, I wasn't eligible for a Master's program in the USA. To address this, I began accumulating approximately 90 ACE credits through platforms like study.com, straighterline, and Sophia. Eventually, when an online two-year MBA program was launched by an Indian university, I enrolled and successfully completed it.

Yes, definitely get your degrees evaluated. Between both degrees and the ACE credit, I'd be surprised if you couldn't get a degree from TESU, Excelsior, or WGU with minimal coursework.

Only Cornerstone and Capstone is pending, if I choose to complete BS(BA) CIS.
