Better option for A&P with Lab - Gracieflores27 - 10-24-2023

Hi,

I would appreciate any feedback I can get on this topic. I’m looking to take A&P with lab for nursing prerequisite, but having trouble deciding where to take it. Study.com and SL seem to be the most popular I have come across. However, the lab for SL seems pricey at over $400. Any suggestions, information, or opinions?

@Gracieflores27, Welcome to the board, that's a great starting post, however, it's a bit compact yet doesn't have much info, it's good to ask questions but you need to provide a bigger overview of your scenario.  Please complete the addendum and template here, tell us which school you're planning to enroll in or schools you've researched. https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-New-to-DegreeForum-How-this-Area-works

For starters, I highly suggest doing some more research on your prerequisites and schools of choice.  It really depends on what the institutions accepts for previous studies.  Here's a read from a previous recent post/thread, you should read the entire thing, but here's one of my responses in that thread: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-UMPI-Psychology?pid=405206#pid405206

First, as BJ said, you'll have to check with your nursing program to verify that alt-credit sources like Sophia or SDC will work for this requirement. Healthcare programs, including nursing, tend to expect that your core sciences will be graded classes from an actual college or university. By all means use the most expedient credit sources for things like history or government. But when it comes to stuff like A&P, you may not have options.
