For those who are interested in such things, I think that a BA Religion from TESU is possible if a student heavily utilizes Coopersmith. Maybe OSU.

It's about on par with some of the other degrees TESU has in that students might have to complete 2 TESU classes in addition to the Cornerstone/Capstone. But I think it's just one, because the DSST should work. I don't know other random philosophy classes might work for the philosophy/religion requirement. PHI-1300 Intro to Critical Reasoning is not listed as a possible option in MyProgress, nor are any of the PHI- ethics courses. The Sophia course doesn't appear to fit either.

I noticed no category links at the bottom of that wiki page. Is that on purpose?

It's interesting that it's possible to get that degree at TESU.

Oh, no, that was definitely not on purpose. I've fixed it now; thanks for pointing it out.

Great addition to the WIKI for those who want to get in on this Religion degree. It's possible to get the degree using the various options available now... Hmm, if TESU had an option for a bachelors of education, there are plenty NCCRS courses from Genesis University. For now... someone can possibly get a degree at Genesis University and then move those over to Excelsior or TESU and get a BALS/BSLA from that.

I can confirm that PHI-2260 Ancient Greek philosophers is not accepted in Philosophy of Religion, tried to add it on my program. It does go into Addtl AOS electives.

If the course isn't UL-recommended by ACE, then most likely, TESU won't take it as UL.

Before attempting this degree, I would get all your courses preapproved by TESU academic advising. However, I wonder if advising could answer if some of these niche Coopersmith courses were never transferred to TESU before.

I think it's entirely possible that a lot of the Coopersmith courses have been transferred in, we simply don't know about it.
