@txc1500, Welcome to the board! That's a pretty well written addendum and template, it's got all the info I usually like to see.  Since you're in Texas, you may want to do a Bachelors from local institutions such as TAMUC.  They offer a few options that are competency based and compete with UMPI/WGU, my suggestion is the TAMUC BAAS Organizational Leadership.  Here's the WIKI and the sample plan: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Texas_A%26M_University-Commerce

If you're planning to continue onward to a Masters, you can continue with WGU (Texas endorsed), they offer the MSML and MBA.  I suggest you quickly apply to TAMUC, get an evaluation of your credits, then report back what is missing.  You want to try and max the transfer of your current credits into that degree, up to 84 credits and complete the rest from them, add that to the WGU MSML or MBA and you can get the combo for roughly $8K.

I would look at TAMUC, I am in Texas also and I am about to finish my 1st semester with them. You should apply and send your transcripts in so you can get an evaluation. My wife just got signed up to start Fall 2 semester with me, and we started talking to our youngest son about getting enrolled also.

I agree that TAMUC is probably going to be your best choice. However, based on previous feedback, I'd highly recommend trying to find an inexpensive Texas government class somewhere else. TAMUC's Texas government class is time-consuming/difficult when compared to their other classes.

Thank you for the feedback! I took PLSC 2306 State & Local Politics at UTPB which fulfilled the requirement for UT so I would hope that they would also take it for a potential transfer to TAMUC.

It would probably fill TAMUC's requirements, then. Hopefully. You really don't want to take TAMUC's class!

How has your experience been so far? How many classes are you on track to finish this semester?

Remember that Texas History class that was just mentioned? I had to take that class this semester for Fall 1. I finally figured the class out and passed with an A. Yes TX history took a long time and I was very frustrated with it at first. I also took CID 338 Talent Leadership in HR and was able to take a 3rd class, MMJ 1307 Mass Communication in Society. I just turned in my final assignment for that class today.

I plan during Fall 2 to finish 4 classes minimum.

My experience has been good so far. My wife will start her classes next semester Fall 2. We just talked to our oldest son about taking some Sophia classes and transferring them to TAMUC.

If my future classes are similar to CID 338 and MMJ 1307, I should be able to finish by the end of May 24'

Admitted to UMPI and Texas A&M Commerce. Decided to go ahead and enroll at Texas A&M in the BAAS Organizational Leadership program. After transferring all of my previous coursework I only have 10 classes to complete for graduation.
