How does Sophia.org work? What's the not graded part and graded part? - whiverem - 10-05-2023

I'm not exactly sure how Sophia works. Like what's the graded part and what's the not graded part? How many attempts can you make at the graded part if you don't score high enough to get credit before you have to pay again, stuff like that? I would appreciate it if someone can help me understand Sophia. Thank you.

Sophia.org does an excellent job explaining what each class entails, what pass/fail is, milestones etc. They have a student guide which you can download that explains everything.

Everything is "the graded part" except for about 5 Touchstones in 2 or 3 courses that are explicitly labeled as being ungraded.

Thank you so much for pointing that out.

Yes, everything is graded... the main thing that isn't graded and available in all courses is, the practice exam (milestone), that's not graded but it's a good indicator of how you'll do, I always do the practice final and then do the final. Again, this is all non proctored - open book, they only use Biometric/IP logging for all of that, you have all the pdfs, links, material open on a screen and then do the milestone on a second monitor. Answers are at your fingertips...
