TESU Student Support Center - bjcheung77 - 08-02-2023 Hey, not sure if TESU students use their services or not, so just letting everyone know they have a student support center which you should use if you can't find anything in their catalog or website. For example, if you ever wanted to review active/inactive status or whatever else, you can review their updated webpages or call/email them for more details. TESU Student Support Center Page: TESU Student Support Center My example above: Enrolled / Active and Inactive Student Status (tesu.edu) The page was updated 7-19-2023. Hopefully they regularly update their pages... RE: TESU Student Support Center - bjcheung77 - 08-03-2023 Well, I used their online chat for student support center... Hmm, they couldn't do too much to reactivate my account, so I'll have to email academic advising or the registrar to get my account reactivated. I'll see what happens... or what is required next... I am looking to register for a few these TECEPs for the knowledge gaps... RE: TESU Student Support Center - studyingfortests - 08-07-2023 Be aware... when you call the Student Support Center, you might get the *actual* TESU Student Support Center, which can do a whole lot of things and solve a lot of problems... but if you are calling outside of TESU's regular hours (which I think are 9-5 M-F Eastern), or even if they happen to be busy when you call, you'll invisibly get shunted off to their beyond worthless contracted call center, which I think is run by Blackboard. They're polite and friendly and give the illusion of being helpful, but are utterly useless. When I was a student I repeatedly got bad information, or else all they could do was send a message. Basically, the Blackboard folks are a glorified answering service. There is a way to tell whether your call is being routed to the third-party call center ... the recordings are slightly different as you are being routed... but I don't remember exactly what the difference is. I did learn to directly ask, when calling, if I have reached the *actual* TESU Student Support, or the third-party call center, and most of the time, they'd answer honestly and unambiguously. IN several cases, I just called back several times over an hour (if during TESU's hours) and was then able to get someone competent and capable.
