Amberton website (major) redesign - allvia - 07-08-2023

Amberton University just redid their website, first true redesign I've seen and it is a major change - https://amberton.edu. It is more modern for certain, and no doubt more mobile friendly, but I'm not sure I like it Undecided . I'm now an alumn as of last year, so maybe I'm just used to the 'good old days' version, ha.

Hmm, interesting that they updated the tuition as well, it's now $300/credit or 900 per course...

I have been looking at their MBA the last few weeks.  That was the tuition I saw in June already.

My wife took graduate courses there over 10 years ago and she remembers that a class was $800-875 range so their tuition has not changed much in that time.

Agreed. Their  tuition increases are generally very small increments, and remain an good value for a more traditional program - especially at the master degree level.

Tuition increased several months ago. It increased $15 per credit. Nothing major.

Yeah, for the longest time, I remember it was $285/credit or so... haven't explored their web page in a while...

the design looks nice, but these three rectangle bad quality videos make website looks cheaper than it is...

They're videos from actual students recorded on Zoom calls so the quality isn't going to be a production studio. I actually prefer this look as it looks real and not like Hollywood like many schools do. It shows real people - adult learners which is Amberton's target audience particularly those in Texas.

They still call their certificates "certifications", which is an unfortunate oversight that has always been a peeve of mine.
