I like that new courses are appearing. Slowly Sophia is growing to a level I would have never imagined before.

I saw that too! I want to take it but there's no way to know if it will transfer until it's evaluated. Since Business Law transfers (to UMPI) I hope this does too.  The transfer tool doesn't show business ethics from Saylor transfers yet, but someone recently confirmed it did. What do you guys think?

Business Ethics has 2 Touchstones and 4 Milestones + Final Milestone. The Touchstones look not too difficult. At a glance, the first one will probably take most students 1-2 days to complete. The second one looks a little more involved and might take 3-4 days to tweak.

If you have a current Sophia membership, it's probably worth trying.

I think you meant the touchstones here?

Sorry, yes, Touchstones!

Please check the UMPI Transfer Database as it finally updated with my Saylor transfer today. Saylor's BUS 200 Business Ethics transfers to UMPI as BUS 353 Legal and Ethical Issues in Business. The Saylor course was not very difficult and I passed the direct credit exam with about 6-7 hours of actual studying and a $5 exam proctoring fee.

I'd hope that Sophia's Business Ethics would transfer as the same or perhaps as BUS 352 Business Law II (might be a stretch). Either way, with 2 touchstones, I'd say the Saylor route is superior, if they transfer as the same course.

Sophia.org added a couple courses as per this previous thread (along with StraighterLine sciences): https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Some-Newly-ACE-Approved-Courses

An ethics course isn't going to transfer as a BLaw course. They are 2 very different things. BUS353 isn't really a law course. It's about how laws have an impact on ethics. Just because something is legal doesn't make it ethical. For example, some people don't find the stand your ground laws to be ethical. They are legal in some states. Good to see more Saylor courses in the transfer database!

I just finished 9 last month at Sophia but I think it's worth another month for American Gov and Business Ethics. I'm probably going to try it out this weekend, and I'll report back!
