with the practicum requirement I don't think this is a program that could be completed in a single term
PSY 496: Practicum
Duration: 8 weeks
Credit Hours: 3
Supervised field experience in a social service or other setting where psychology background and skills are especially useful. May be repeated for a total not to exceed six credits.

Nice. And there are 5 out of the 15 courses in the major that can be done via Study.com (a couple can be done on Sophia - Intro to Psych and Stats).

I’ve got it at 7.
PSY 100: General Psychology = PSY 101
PSY 200: Social Psychology = PSY 104
PSY 205: Lifespan Development = PSY 107
PSY 235: Abnormal Psychology = PSY 106
PSY 375: Sex and Gender = PSY 301
PSY 448: Cognitive Psychology = PSY 302
MAT 101: Basic Statistics = STAT 101

Keep in mind that there are residency requirements including the number of UL credits in major that must be completed at UMPI.
PSY100 & MAT101 can also be completed on Sophia and are part of the GEC.

Yep, Intro to Psych and Stats can be taken at either Sophia or SDC, but Sophia tends to be cheaper/faster, so it's likely that only 5 of the 7 from SDC would be recommended.

True, it can be a deterrent for those on a tight budget and schedule. However, for those who have the extra $1400 for a session and the time to complete the practicum, it maybe the cheapest, easiest, and fastest option or a combo of these... This reminds me of the BACJ option for YourPace, it also requires a practicum I believe.

Even if the practicum on its own requires an extra session or two, it should still come in as cheaper than the TESU Psych degree. And the practicum will make it more useful for at least some students who want to continue on to a Master's or even a Doctorate in the field.
