TESU's Associate Capstone: APS-2950-OL - DThomas - 06-13-2023 Greetings all, Does anyone have experience in TESU's APS-2950-OL? Any intel would be helpful. Dave RE: TESU's Associate Capstone: APS-2950-OL - allvia - 06-14-2023 Which associate are you going for? And what is the course name? TESU just changed their course numbering systems from 3 digits (still showing on their website) to 4 digits, so having more information would likely help those who had taken it prior to this recent change RE: TESU's Associate Capstone: APS-2950-OL - dfrecore - 06-14-2023 (06-14-2023, 07:49 AM)allvia Wrote: Which associate are you going for? This is the capstone for an AS in the School of Applied Science & Technology. OP, most people on this forum do not spend the money to get an AA/AS at TESU, since it's way too expensive - especially one that requires a capstone. It's the same price for a BA/BS, so a waste of money to do. I highly suggest that you skip this Associates degree and get a Bachelor's degree instead. RE: TESU's Associate Capstone: APS-2950-OL - rachel83az - 06-14-2023 If you want an Associate degree, and are a US citizen/resident, Pierpont is a great option. If you're not a a US citizen/resident, an entire Bachelor's degree from UMPI costs less than an Associate degree from TESU. If you're already pursuing a TESU Bachelor's degree, there are some Associate degrees that you can pick up "for free" along the way: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sample_TESU_Add-on_Associates_Degree_Plans Other Associate degrees are way too expensive, unless you're looking for something very specific. RE: TESU's Associate Capstone: APS-2950-OL - bjcheung77 - 06-18-2023 @Dave, it really depends which degree you're going for, if you can and have the time to fill in the template/last post addendum here, we'll get a better overview of what your situation is: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-New-to-DegreeForum-How-this-Area-works RE: TESU's Associate Capstone: APS-2950-OL - 308sc - 06-20-2023 I took it back in 2016. I received an A and don’t remember it being too difficult. I wouldn’t stress about it. Do you already have 16 residency credits at TESU or any at all? |
