Asking for Reference Letter - RoliJoli - 06-12-2023

Has anyone asked an UMPI professor for an academic reference letter to apply to grad school before?

I did. It was a professor I had for 8 classes. I had numerous email communications with her and Zoom calls so she knew who I was and what my work was like.

Ok, thank you.

Yes. I took 14 classes total, but the majority were split between two professors. I asked both of them. One of them, I'd already had a lot of communication with, so I asked more informally. The second, whom I hadn't had contact with outside of Brightspace, I sent a pretty formal email to. Didn't ask anybody I'd only taken one class with. (Both wrote letters and sent them to the grad schools I'd applied to.)
