I love that the author example comparing Porsche vs Acura MDX. I agree, we need to find affordable university list.

Conspicuously absent from the article is the fact that many of the more expensive universities, such as Harvard, offer an enormous amount of financial aid to anyone who is admitted.  Families making less than $85K pay nothing at all.  The only problem is, you have to get in first.

Ivy League education is a tad overrated, in all respect to what they do and teach, I think private education is a bit far fetched to say they're worth their cost. You can get an equivalent education from highly ranked public schools! It really depends on the professors, students, and a combination of factors that turn in favor of the student or not in the future. An example are the Ivy League Executive MBA offerings, some are well over 100K, just because they're private and have an expensive tuition doesn't mean they're much better than any other public institution that may offer comparable value/ROI in what is being taught at half the price or less.
