Transfer Credit Appeal - HBCIRCA14 - 04-19-2023 I just saw the transfer credit come in and I am confused as to why my English 101 and English 102 classes were not credited. Those were basic English courses to fulfill GE credit taken at a community college. Any advice to appeal? RE: Transfer Credit Appeal - bjcheung77 - 04-19-2023 Basically... If my guess is correct, you're roughly at the 90 credit mark of Community College & Sophia.org credits combined and you are sending them to UMPI for an evaluation. I am thinking they've not fully completed the transfer credit evaluation yet and there is just a delay. I would wait for a bit longer before your official session starts, email your academic advisor asking about the discrepancy. As long as you get this rectified before you officially start, you should be in good shape... RE: Transfer Credit Appeal - HBCIRCA14 - 04-19-2023 (04-19-2023, 09:51 PM)bjcheung77 Wrote: Basically... You may be right as I also noticed they didn't give me credit for my Sociology 101 class ![]() RE: Transfer Credit Appeal - ss20ts - 04-20-2023 (04-19-2023, 06:38 PM)HBCIRCA14 Wrote: I just saw the transfer credit come in and I am confused as to why my English 101 and English 102 classes were not credited. The English requirements at UMPI are VERY specific and they have not made exceptions to the requirements in the past when transferring in English courses for the GEC. All of my community college English courses did not transfer to meet the GEC requirements. They transferred in for elective credits. |
