WGU Master Cybersecurity and Information Assurance - Imbanewbie - 04-14-2023 WGU is going to update their master degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. I heard it will start the new program in June 1 2023. Please call student services. RE: WGU Master Cybersecurity and Information Assurance - origamishuttle - 04-15-2023 These seem like big changes with all the certifications included. I'm surprised that CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications will count for credit in the master's degree. RE: WGU Master Cybersecurity and Information Assurance - MNomadic - 04-16-2023 Yup I've been tracking the changes and it looks like I'll be guinea pigging the new curriculum when I enrol this year. On the interesting side, it looks like I'll be transferring like half of it in since I have all of those certs except CISM and I'm sitting for CISSP in a month or 2. RE: WGU Master Cybersecurity and Information Assurance - jsd - 04-16-2023 Sec+ and Net+ being graduate level work is very bizarre. RE: WGU Master Cybersecurity and Information Assurance - Messdiener - 04-16-2023 Has anyone found a specific conversion table for the certificates to credits? For example, which graduate course would Network+ be replacing? They're supposed to officially announce the degree changes(and other degree changes) this coming week so stand by and we'll get more info. The following are good references for what certs transfer(when they get updated): https://www.wgu.edu/admissions/transfers/wgu-transcript-request/transferable-certifications.html https://partners.wgu.edu/Pages/MSCSIA.aspx RE: WGU Master Cybersecurity and Information Assurance - Imbanewbie - 04-17-2023 (04-16-2023, 08:04 PM)MNomadic Wrote:(04-16-2023, 07:05 PM)Messdiener Wrote: Has anyone found a specific conversion table for the certificates to credits?
