Looks like an interesting alternative to an online MBA.

Fully online MPA program, 36 credit hours, clocks in at around ~7-9k USD out-of-state tuition.

Appears that only US Residents are permitted to apply. This doesn't make a ton of sense to me as their rationale is that it requires an F-1 student visa?

The MBA program costs the same and is AACSB re-accredited as of February 2022. It is cheaper than Georgia Southwestern, the most commonly cited AACSB accredited school on DegreeForum.

The doctorates have already been discussed recently: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-University-of-North-Georgia

This is an excellent find!

When I look at the tuition and fees, it comes out to about $10k for the MPA. (Sorry, I don't have the math to share because this was yesterday I was looking at it and I'm in a hurry right this second)

How did you end up with the $7k-9k figure?

In either case, that's the least expensive MPA I've seen online.

They have a cost estimator tool.  The MPA is $6438.

The error seems to be that I didn't consider mandatory student fees for a part-time (6 credit per term) basis.

Indeed, the mystery is solved. The degree would be $6438 if you could complete 36 credits in a single semester, but $11245.50 if you did it in 6 semesters.

So, which one of you intrepid deal seekers out there want to be the first to get this degree in one semester?

GAH!  I overlooked the "one semester" thing.   Even though it was as clear as day in big bold letters.   Slow and steady is the pace for me.

Yeah, the 6 semester pricing is the most probable cost for the program as you most likely will be taking two courses at a time. For those extra speedy, you may try to ask for an additional course to speed things up and hopefully bring the cost down a bit as well. Someone interested should email and inquire more about the program, seems very affordable and will 'hit the MPA' spot if you're looking for an MPA that is...
