UMPI - Project Management - Ravenbad - 03-05-2023

Hi,

I am debating between enrolling in a business degree at WGU and the PM degree with UMPI. The PM degree interests me, but I am not strong writer. From what’s been said, UMPI is mostly paper writing.

How much writing does this degree have?

In the attached spreadsheet, I have listed the PM courses that I completed at UMPI. The employee handbook is the only "real" paper that you have to write in the concentration.

You will probably also have to do English comp I & II and Creative and critical thinking at UMPI

Thank you so much. That was helpful. I didn’t know that double majors were an option. How does that work?

during the session, you ask Jessica to add another major.

The PM degree at UMPI is a business degree. It's not a full PM degree. PM is just a concentration on the BABA.

I have read that a lot of the exam assessments are changing to papers…how long ago did you complete the courses?  Thanks!

Within the last 3 sessions + the current session. None have been changed from exams to papers yet since UMPI has not moved to Brightspace yet.

Perfect! Thank you.

I just need to do Spanish through Sophia, and maybe my 1C and 5E I think Study.com American Gov covers both? And then I will be ready to tackle my 10 UMPI courses. Hopefully in 2 sessions.

RE: UMPI - Project Management - ss20ts - 04-12-2023

Sophia will be offering a course in American Government any day.

RE: UMPI - Project Management - Mom5 - 04-12-2023

Oh! Well that might make things easier!
