My subscription lapses on the 27th...do I have to take it before then? I dont see a need to renew since I dont need to take any new courses from them. Or can I take it whenever?

You need to take the exam(s) within your subscription period.

Yes, StraighterLine is like Study.com or Sophia in that you need an active subscription to finish a class. Davar is the odd one out in that the Business Class "subscription" actually purchases the courses outright and you can take your exam whenever.

Study.com is a bit different - you have to take your exams/quizzes with an active subscription, but you can turn in papers after your subscription ends, as well as complete a lab after your SDC subscription ends (but obviously you must complete it during the Labster subscription period, which I think is 4 months).
