Hello!
I am working on finishing up a few credits before starting at UMPI. One area that I'm concerned is the requirement of a foreign language. In high school, I took French but only two years and I remember a minimal amount.
Since there have been changes with InstantCert Spanish approval, what is the recommended avenue to complete? Is there a French option?

You could try taking an ACTFL or CLEP exam for French. Otherwise, Spanish is your only good option. Sophia has a good Spanish course for this requirement.

If you don't remember much from a high school foreign language course, then I wouldn't spend the time on an exam such as CLEP. I would instead spend the time on Sophia's Spanish course which can be completed quickly even for someone with zero knowledge of Spanish. Spanish is the only language available on Sophia at this time.
