Fast, Cheap Education Courses - sanantone - 11-30-2022 Other than Coopersmith and the couple of DSSTs and CLEPs related to education, are there any other sources of fast and cheap education credits? Study.com is not an option because I'm not completing 50 quizzes for each course. The cheapest professional development courses that can be turned into credit I could find will be around $250 each, and I'm hoping to find cheaper options because I want to complete about eight courses related to special education. RE: Fast, Cheap Education Courses - rachel83az - 11-30-2022 $250 is probably about as cheap as you can get. Are you looking at VESI courses? Yes, it looks like VESi will be the cheapest. NEA members can take free microcredential courses and pay Baker University $80 per credit to convert them, but most of the courses require access to a K-12 classroom, and most of their courses aren't related to special education anyway. I won't be working with children but adults who need secondary and elementary education. RE: Fast, Cheap Education Courses - rachel83az - 11-30-2022 ACE courses for $225 each. Not sure if any are useful to you: https://www.adraceu.com/teachers-professional-development/ RE: Fast, Cheap Education Courses - sanantone - 11-30-2022 (11-30-2022, 04:25 PM)rachel83az Wrote: ACE courses for $225 each. Ironically, Genesis University was just mentioned on the other forum, and I was familiar with them because I wanted to take accounting courses there a while back. They have quite a few education courses, and they're $60 per credit hour. I wouldn't have to worry about paying for a credit bank since Genesis is accredited by DEAC. If I decide to transfer the credits later, their courses are also evaluated by NCCRS. Usually, they are about 5 questions each. If your school accepts Sophia credits they are a really good option for fast and cheap credits. |
