Need Help with Degree Planning Please - awaters5080 - 11-19-2022

Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to provide me with your advice. It is greatly appreciated!

I finished going through enrollment with UMPI and was given a final list of classes I need to complete. I have 16 courses remaining. My goal is to finish these in the fastest and easiest way possible. Whether that is through UMPI or other methods such as Sophia. I have finished a bunch of Sophia courses, and they were fast and easy. I recently looked at Study.com, and they seem significantly longer.

Below are the remaining courses I need to complete. Does anyone have recommendations on the fastest and most efficient way to go about this?

  1. 2.D - Art 103, 108, 120, 221, 231, 235, Eng 211, Bus 186 Decison Making
  2. 5.E - Pos 101, 211, 332
  3. Bus 200 Intermediate Computing
  4. Bus 220 Managerial Accounting
  5. Bus 325 Financial Management
  6. Bus 440 Business Analytics
  7. Bus 469 - Strategic Professional Communication
  8. Mat 140 or Mat 131 - 
  9. Bus 219 Product Development
  10. Bus 261 Marker Research and Analysis
  11. Bus 307 Fundamentals Consumer Behavior
  12. Bus 330 Marketing Management
  13. Bus 334 Advertising, Public Relations
  14. Bus 337 Integrated Marketing Communications

1. GEC 2D should be taken at UMPI.
2. I think GEC 5E is American Government at UMPI. Apparently, it only takes most people 2-3 days to finish the course and submit their final paper.
3. I don't think this can be taken anywhere else.
4. Accounting 301: Applied Managerial Accounting @ Study.com. May or may not be faster & easier from UMPI. I have no direct experience.
5. I don't think this is available elsewhere.
6. IBM Data Analyst Professional certificate: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Coursera
7. I don't think BUS469 is available elsewhere.
8. MAT 140, UMPI. MAT 131 is Calculus. Can be taken at Sophia.

6. That certificate is overkill. It's far more work than BUS440. This class has an exam so I wouldn't look elsewhere for it. The marketing concentration is very limited in what can transfer in from elsewhere with ACE courses. This is not one of the fastest concentrations. The papers are long - most are 10+ pages.

Thanks for your advice! It is so very much appreciated.  What is the fastest and easiest business degree at UMPI? What would you recommend? I just need to finish this for the paper to check a box at my company.
