Bachelor of liberal studies-Education and Management-NEED MORE CLASSES? - galileom - 11-09-2022 First, I would like to thank everyone who got me this far with figuring out my degree plan. UMPI Bachelor of liberal studies-Education and Management double minor PLANNING ON STARTING IN JANUARY. I am going to complete all my plan classes by the end of this month. Should I take any more classes that would help me get my degree faster or easier? I think I should have 90 credits by the end of this month with my current class plan. CURRENT CLASSES: SOPHIA: CALCULUS INTRO TO STATISTICS COLLEGE ALGEBRA COMMUNICATION AT WORKS ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE INTRODUCTION TO ETHICS ANCIENT GREEK PHILOSOPHER INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MACROECONOMICS MICROECONOMICS ART HISTORY 1 ART HISTORY 2 PUBLIC SPEAKING INTRODUCTION TO SOCIOLOGY US HISTORY 1 US HISTORY 2 PROJECT MANAGEMENT (almost finished) BUSINESS LAW (starting soon) SPANISH 1 (ACTFL) STUDY.COM BIOLOGY WITH LAB COMMUNITY COLLEGE: ENGL 100 FUND OF COMPOSITION 3.00 J 101 INTRO/ADMIN OF JUST 3.00 ECON 101 PRINC OF ECONOMICS 3.00 PSY 205 DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCH 3.00 PSY 101 INTRO TO PSYCHOLOGY 3.00 NGL 101 READING/COMPOSITION 3.00 HIST 108 POL/SOC HISTORY U S 3.00 MATH 130 ELEMENTARY ALGEBRA 4.00 ARTC 70 COMPUTER GRAPHICS 3.00 POLI 1 POLITICAL SCIENCE 3.00 ARTS 40A SCULPTURE 3.00 PHOT BEGINNING PHOTO 3.00 RE: Bachelor of liberal studies-Education and Management-NEED MORE CLASSES? - emills - 11-10-2022 Education 105: Special Education History & Law and Psychology 104: Social Psychology were two classes I enjoyed taking and weren't too hard if you're looking for suggestions! (Study.com) RE: Bachelor of liberal studies-Education and Management-NEED MORE CLASSES? - bjcheung77 - 11-10-2022 I would continue with the current courses and if you go 'over' the 90 credits by a few, it's alright. Keep the mind working on courses that interest you, it's for the learning anyways if you go overboard by a little. One thing to note is to verify with admissions/advising that you have 'made' the January admissions and that your credits have been evaluated before the application deadline in late December. We've had a few reports that people applied a couple months early but didn't 'make it' into the session due to their application not fully completed on UMPI side of things... You need to verify not once, but twice or more just to make sure you've got in before the application deadline, not a week before session begins... Good luck, have fun, happy studies! Great recommendations like always Bjcheung77. Thank you so much for all your help. I am going to keep on taking more classes. Also, I'm going to start checking in with the school more often. I speak with the enrollment counselor once every 2 weeks. They haven't received my Credly transcript which is weird because I send it weeks ago. I need to be more on tops of things. |
