TESU Launches Student Self-Service Portal - MrPanda - 08-24-2022 "You can access the new self-service feature by logging into myEdison® and selecting the Student Self-Service Portal link under "Online Student Services" or by logging in directly. Please note that you can still utilize the existing OSS platform for course registration and general administrative needs as we work toward fully integrating OSS and new Student Self-Service platforms during the next few months." I don´t see an "Academic Evaluation" tool in the new portal yet. And in "Transfer Credit", they are not showing my NCCRS credits. And one more thing: Check the "Restrict to Academic Programs", COS-104 is my edX Microbachelor: New York University - Computer Science Fundamentals. And what they have written there, it´s in agreement with this other website: "The following MicroBachelors Programs by edX® have been evaluated by Thomas Edison State University for credit: Note: Students wishing to enroll at TESU may only use these credits toward the Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science program." https://www.tesu.edu/degree-completion/edx-credit However, in the old portal, in Academic Evaluation, if I tried BSBA in Operations Management, they would apply that credit. RE: TESU Launches Student Self-Service Portal - rachel83az - 08-24-2022 Ewww, I dislike the new "transfer credit" list. It doesn't show what the ACE classes are/where they came from, just what TESU thinks they are. That is unhelpful. TESU Launches Student Self-Service Portal - ROYISAGIRL - 08-24-2022 Yeah I don't like how it's separated. The JST credits don't have names just numbers and trying to figure out what credit was what is difficult. RE: TESU Launches Student Self-Service Portal - BrianFallon - 08-25-2022 I don't like this at all - are they sunsetting the "what if" in the current system? I don't see any degree plan info in the new site (Unless I haven't explored enough) RE: TESU Launches Student Self-Service Portal - MrPanda - 09-01-2022 Title: Student Self Service Body: Online Student Services (OSS): Student Self-Service The University is updating its OSS Student Self-Services to offer you insight and more user-friendly tools you need to track your academic progress and transcripts, expand your administrative control of your financial aid and student financial accounts, and stay informed during every phase of your degree journey. The full suite of services will be phased in over the fall 2022. RE: TESU Launches Student Self-Service Portal - bjcheung77 - 09-07-2022 Oh weird, I missed this post yet it's "marked as read", I may have skimmed it before but never read it thoroughly enough. Hopefully the full updates will make the dashboard and features feel and look better, cleaner, and nicer... |
