What kind of degree do you want?: BA/BS in CS or IT

Budget: Looking to stay below $8k USD total.
Commitments: Working full-time, able to commit weekends and after work.
Dedicated time to study: 15-20 hrs per week
Timeline: Not in any rush, 3-4 years.

Long story short: I live in Mexico and I'll be moving to the United States in 2-3 years. (I married my long time US Citizen boyfriend, now husband a couple of weeks ago and we just started the immigration process).
Right now I have a Bachelors in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance (Both from a private Mexican university). I'm currently working for a US Company as a Recruiter. (It pays more than working on my field, so...) but I'd always been interested in IT/CS and I regret not choosing that as my bachelors 10 years ago.I've taken several coding classes, but none have any curricular value. I'm also interested in Accounting, but the work-life balance that I've seen from candidates is a big turnoff for me.

TESU has a BACS degree; you won't need the GE or Free Electives, so you can just do the AoS (45cr); if you took any CompSci courses, those can be brought into the degree; if you've taken any math or science, those can as well. I'm guessing you'll just need 39cr or even less. It can be done entirely via alt-credit, through Study.com, although you can mix in some credits from a few other course providers if you want.
I don't think any of our other schools here will be cheaper than TESU; and WGU won't allow you in if you're not living in the US (I think that's the rule). So I'm guessing the TESU BACS is your only option at this point.

Depending if you want to continue with Computer Science or changing to Info Tech, there are other options available to you either way, you can complete a BA or BS at a Nationally Accredited school or a Regionally Accredited one. I would keep options open, you should review some Alternative Credit friendly or Competency Based degree providers - Northern Arizona, Purdue Global, South Texas, UMASS, and Bottega... It rests on you to decide on which program and at what cost, ease, speed to finish.

You need to get your current degree evaluated to confirm that it is equivalent to a US RA Bachelor's. It is possible that this will take multiple evaluations, depending on where your degree is originally from, but it should only take one. Once you have that, TESU will probably be fastest and cheapest. Check out the plan on the wiki here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sample_TESU_BA_Computer_Science_Plan There are some other options, but they're not all as alt credit friendly as TESU is, nor are they necessarily easy. Purdue Global comes to mind. They have an IT degree, but every class has a ton of writing. Even if you are a fan of writing, Purdue Global seems a bit excessive.
