Can Sophia courses be done while you are enrolled? - kimmyk - 07-17-2022 Hi, Do you have to finish all of your Sophia courses before you enroll? Can you still finish Sophia courses while you are enrolled and be able to transfer those credits? Thank you! RE: Can Sophia courses be done while you are enrolled? - ss20ts - 07-17-2022 You need to get permission from your academic advisor to transfer courses in after you're enrolled. UMPI has allowed courses to transfer in the past but no one knows if they will change this policy. It tends to be better to get all of you courses done elsewhere and then focus on UMPI as you're paying for UMPI. 8 weeks flies by. I will have 10 courses to complete when I start on 8/29. I want to maximize my 8 weeks at UMPI and get as many courses done as I can each term without distractions from other learning ![]() RE: Can Sophia courses be done while you are enrolled? - bjcheung77 - 07-18-2022 @kimmyk - You can apply, but it's highly advised to complete closer to the 90 credits as possible if you can and apply the next session. This is to make the application and process as seamless as possible. However, there are times when it would be better to have an extra helper on the institutional side of things that can address things for you that the board can't. For UMPI and others that allow delay of your enrollment or start, this is possible to apply before and enroll later. Some schools such as WGU will not allow you to transfer more credits when you enroll and that's the main reason you want to send everything in first before you start. |
