Quick question about applying - acethroughcollege - 07-17-2022 Hi everyone, I was wondering if UMPI requires a high school transcript or only a high school diploma. On online.umpi I saw that they want a high school diploma but did not say whether they needed a transcript. Please clarify. Thanks in advance for your help. RE: Quick question about applying - ss20ts - 07-17-2022 It depends if you have completed a previous degree. If you have an associate degree, you won't need high school transcripts. Without any degree, they need a high school transcript. High school diploma isn't the same as the transcripts. RE: Quick question about applying - rachel83az - 07-18-2022 If it helps, I think you might be able to get the free Pierpont degree with just the diploma, and not transcripts? Then you could send that to UMPI and not worry about HS transcripts. Also one more question I was checking out the pierpont degree and it requires a computer literacy course, does anyone know if the coursera google data analytics course (or maybe management information systems from SDC) will work for that requirement? RE: Quick question about applying - Samus477 - 07-18-2022 What if you are sending in transcripts from two RA universities? do you think they would still require a high school transcript? I think it's the following... If you received an Associates then most likely no. If you haven't received a first credential from them, then yes. You just need to let Sophia know. If you already have SDC's MIS or the Google Data Analytics, they might work, but I wouldn't take them for Pierpont if you don't already have them. They have required a high school transcript unless you've completed a degree. It can be an associate, bachelor, master, or doctorate. Doesn't matter which degree. Do you happen to know if the Pierpont AAS could be used to waive the UMPI high school transcript requirement? Yes, the Pierpont AAS counts as a degree for this purpose. |
