Has anyone learned any news or even just quality rumors that UMPI will start offering any more competency-based master's programs?

UMPI has plans to expand their BA and MA offerings. However, they're currently in the midst of a reorganization and hiring expansion to design new, and unique curriculum with the school. I wouldn't expect anything new to be added for a while on the Master's front.

They had plans to expand to 3 master's by 2025. I wouldn't expect to see anything for awhile though. They just don't have the staff. The new bachelor's concentrations are taught by professors from other U of M campuses and new adjuncts. They've been pretty rocky so far. It will be interesting to see if there are any new programs for the fall semester. Last year they added the Marketing and Supply Chain Concentrations to the BABA.
