Open Universities Australia - Alpha - 06-19-2022

I don't see much talk about Australian online degrees.  Maybe because they're not especially cheap.  In any case, I just thought I'd throw this out there

Yeah, the tuition doesn't seem all that inexpensive... I would go for programs on FutureLearn as they also deal with Australian/UK universities.  Also, don't get confused with Open Colleges as that's different than Open Universities - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Colleges

They used to be lots of talk - maybe 12-15 years ago. That was then. This is now. As Alpha observed, they're no longer cheap.
Want cheap and good? India, Malaysia, South Africa. And the tried and true low-end (cost) USA.

You can always find problematic schools abroad. And people who will say they are not. If you're going off-the-path, make yourself an expert first. It's all there. You be the judge.

I'm Australian. I need a bachelor's degree going forward and it's quicker, easier and cheaper for me to get one through ACE/UMPI than through Open Uni or anything similar.

I pass no judgement on the quality/thoroughness of the courses. I have nothing to compare except for Sophia which isn't a fair comparison. I can say however the unis involved in Open Uni Australia are well regarded.
