Does TESU have a section for their students where you can click on different degrees/certs to see where you would stand, and what classes you would need if you were to switch to that degree? Or do you have to guess and/or ask the school to evaluate what you would need?

I responded to your Private Message with this:

That's great, keep getting those credits towards the degree of choice. TESU has a what if option to see where you are with the degree requirements. It'll show everything required and the courses the student has, ones not applicable would be placed in the "other" field at the bottom of the evaluation. It'll show up in the transcripts though...

Yes, once you have been accepted, you have access to the "what if" tool. In OSS, you click on "Academic Evaluation" and then choose another degree from the drop down menu. So, let's say that you applied for a BALS, you can choose a BSBA from the drop down menu to see how close you are to finishing.

Keep in mind that the online Academic Evaluation is not always accurate.

Agreed - I've seen it where it can fill the AOS with all LL credit you have that fit, and then state a section (or the entire AOS) is 'complete' - even though overall you're missing the total UL requirements.  It is helpful to get an idea how close you are, but it isn't official. If you are an enrolled student and wish to add the 'what if' degree officially you just have to email advising to have them add it (but be sure to tell them to LEAVE the 'XYZ' degree evaluation you already have - that this new one is just an addition).  They will then add it an you'll have an official evaluation for the degree for the new one as well as keeping your other degree evaluation. Note: the new addition will be at the current year catalog, which is why it is important if you have another degree evaluation from a prior year and want to keep it that you are clear the the new degree is only an ADD not a Replacement degree evaluation - as it is likely you don't want to lose your prior year evaluation you already have.

Very true. The what if tool often misses credits which aren't the exact expected course but still work.
Also, a few programs aren't available in the what if menu because they require manual intervention. Here's what the registrar said when I inquired about the absence of BSTS:

TESU Wrote:The BS Technical Studies is not available in the "What If" scenario because the evaluation requires manual adjustments to be made by an Advisor to accurately depict how credits apply.

If you would like to see a potential evaluation for this degree, please email the BS Advisors separately.
