Any ideas what the monthly Instant Cert charge of $20 is for and how to cancel my account?

Had the same problem. My partner took an instantcert class almost a year ago. Have been paying 20 a month since. Emailing did nothing. Genuinely considered closing our joint account at this point. Total cost is now at $200. It would have been cheaper to take astronomy via study.com Undecided

The people that run Instantcert are super nice. If you explained what happened, you should be able to resolve the situation and maybe get some of the payments back.

When I was an Instantcert subscriber, I was canceled right away after sending an email. I would try emailing again or calling the toll-free number.

I took one course through instantcert. I requested transcript and cancellation as soon as I finished the course. I got an immediate response. Very pleased and satisfied with their service. Top notch imo.

Oh boy, now I'm a little concerned. I'll be closing my account once I pass all my tests. Here's to hoping I don't run into any issues.

You can always contact them a few days or even a week or two in advance if you "know" you'll be done by then...
