Introduction to Sociology,
with a 59! I am sooo excited, I have my first three college credit hours!
I read the REA Clep book, and did instacert every day, then did a couple of the tests in the back of the book. I did NOT think I was going to pass, but I went ahead and saw what my score was. It asked me twice if I wanted to cancel and delete my scores or view them, it freaked me out.

I'm homeschooled, a freshman in highschool, so I could do instacert during the day without it getting in the way of my other activities.
I also did a lot of searching on Wikipedia, because the REA book was hard to read, the sentences were like, an entire page. It was very frustrating, so being online when I read it really helped. Also, I'd recommend the cliff notes, those explain everything alot easier.

The questions on the test asked alot about the core countries, the difference between Japanese and American workers, stuff I really didn't expect. But I remembered most of the theories from people like Marx and Weber and Durkheim, and so that worked. I guessed through half of it I'm sure.

Congratulations!! It is great to have a another fellow homeschooler on this road to a college degree. I started when I was a freshman and will hopefully be done before my senior year. How did you find out about CLEP?

Nice work, Rachel! How fortunate you are getting a jump on this. If you can try to ease in one exam per month (and in some months you'll likely be able to do more because some of your HS studies will directly translate) you'll be done with your bachelors by the time you graduate HS--just like Farmerboy. If only I could go back...
