Pierpont requesting NCCRS transcript - uncapentin - 04-04-2022
Hi all,
I submitted my study.com and credly transcripts to Pierpont. I got an email today from "processing" saying they had received my study.com transcript and requested an NCCRS transcript from the sponsoring institution. ??? What the heck is that about ? Study is the institution holding the class and NCCRS doesn't issue transcripts. It was for Communications 120- Presentation Skills..... The only thing I can find via google is a specific form but would study.com not know they had to issue a specific form for NCCRS ? Why does it not outline that Comm 120 is only NCCRS when you go to look at the class ?

A few of Study.com courses such as Presentation Skills are NCCRS credit, not ACE credit.

Right, but should is it not accepted on a study.com transcript ?

You sent both Credly and a separate Study.com transcript? Maybe the got the Credly one first and there was some confusion?

OOps, I read that as " what is a credly transcript. I Had credly sent because it had all sophia and study ( except NCCRS- Comm 120 ) on it. Then I requested the transcript from Study. They got it, but are now asking for more for Comm120...it didn't make sense to me.

Credly only has your ACE courses. You need the NCCRS course though so that won't be on Credly. Did you send a Study.com transcript from Study.com?

Maybe ? I'm not sure why ? I thought someone here might know what they mean by an official NCCRS transcript from the supporting institution. ??

Did you ask them if they received the transcript from Study.com? Let them now the NCCRS course is on that transcript.
