UMPI- Dropping a class - Msmith2708 - 03-23-2022

Hello!

Quick question- does anyone have experience with dropping a class after the drop date? The drop date was this Monday. I asked Jessica today if I could drop but got an out of office. I'm just wondering if I will have to take an F. I'm trying to drop Spanish101. There is no way I can complete it at UMPI.

Thank you!

Have you emailed Cody to ask? He would know.

We usually recommend people take Spanish at Instacert, especially for beginners.

The problem with Spanish isn't learning the language itself as that easy to do 1 piece at a time. Instead, the problem comes when the scope of what you are trying to learn gets out of control.

An analogy would be like learning about World War II would be pretty straightforward. However, learning about every bit of history from all countries around the world would be challenging even for a history major.

I wouldn't take an F. Try to withdraw or drop the course if possible.
