Passed! - princykit - 05-09-2008 I passed the Dsst Intro to world religions with a 62!!! I took a week to prepare using IC and wikipedia. Instant cert was amazing to prepare for the exam. A couple of things to watch for : Don't skip the Native american and african american tradition/religion. It is only about 5% of the exam...but knowing the major ideas will earn you valuable points. Also, take each religion and wikipedia search it to get the major concepts and the "flow " of ideas. I find it easier to do that and then do the flashcards to cement the ideas and terms in your brain. As always, some of the most valuable information is in the explanation. Never, Never skip the explanation. Good luck. Sarah Passed! - Greggy_D - 05-09-2008 Congrats!!! What test is next? Passed! - princykit - 05-09-2008 Well, I am leaning towards technical writing.... Have you taken that test? I am not super technical:o but I don't mind writing...wonder what it's like? I hear the drug and alcohol dsst is pretty tough. Hang in there. Know about Proposals, the parts of front and back matter, and abstracts. That is all I still remember. Linda |
