Upper Level History - Ilianasmile - 01-29-2022 Hello, A friend is finishing her LPN to BSN program at Berkeley College and they are asking for an UL History class. Any suggestions for inexpensive and quick courses. They take SL but SL doesnt have a course that satisfies the requirement. Thanks RE: Upper Level History - rachel83az - 01-29-2022 ONU has one on Latin American history: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Olivet_Nazarene_University There are also some UL courses on SDC, if they accept that. RE: Upper Level History - ss20ts - 01-29-2022 Does Berkeley College accept ACE credit? Does the course have to be RA credit? If she needs UL RA credit, BYU is an option. It's self paced. https://is.byu.edu/catalog?school=18 RE: Upper Level History - dfrecore - 01-29-2022 ONU is your best bet - it's free to start the course, self-paced, RA, and you don't have to pay until you're ready to turn in your final project or complete your final exam, so you should already know what kind of grade you'll get before you commit to anything. Only $150. RE: Upper Level History - bjcheung77 - 01-29-2022 Is your friend missing a general education course? It's interesting they're asking for that because she's going for an LPN to BSN program at Berkeley College! If she can take ACE courses, she can try Study.com for an upper level History course. RE: Upper Level History - jsh1138 - 01-29-2022 Study.com has quite a few UL options, I would check there. RE: Upper Level History - dfrecore - 01-30-2022 Looks like they accept ACE and NCCRS: https://berkeleycollege.edu/pdf/credit-for-prior-learning-guide.pdf I'd do a Study.com course if she can get that approved. I figured my guru's here would be very helpful xoxo RE: Upper Level History - bjcheung77 - 01-30-2022 For Study.com, this is my favorite page to see what courses are available: https://study.com/college/online-college-courses.html Click History> My recommendation is History 308 - Vietnam War - It's only got 80 lessons and there are 2 assignments. It's a good course, and one of the two assignments is (or can be) an imagined election speech written by Johnson. You still have to cite sources, but it's essentially a work of fiction, which I found easier and more fun than a standard research paper. |
