Information Systems and Computer Applications - A.R.N. - 05-06-2008 Hi- I'm new here, and I have a question about the Information Systems and Computer Applications Clep test. I have searched the forums about this topic and haven't really found anything of use to me. I am working with a councilor and he says that there are not many if any good practice tests for this test. I was wondering if any of you knew if the questions given for this exam on InstantCert were actually comparable to the test, and helped you pass, and if there were any good study guides that would also help. I have a fairly in depth knowledge of computers and a general knowledge of Networking and Programming. Would this be enough to allow me to pass the test? And also I have been studying computers for only about 3-4 years so I was wondering if any of the information for this test would be out dated for what I have been working with. Thank you for any help you can give me. Information Systems and Computer Applications - bsnbound - 05-06-2008 This is the test I picked for my first CLEP too. I was wondering the same things. I am testing next week. Then I will have 4 left to test out of by the end of summer. Information Systems and Computer Applications - gcalvin - 05-07-2008 The sample test in the CLEP Official Guide is a pretty good indicator of whether you're ready to take the real exam. Score 70% on that, and you're a very good bet to pass the real exam. -Gary- Information Systems and Computer Applications - A.R.N. - 05-07-2008 Thanks for the info, I scored over 70% so I should be fine. |
