EdX Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate degree expansion - bjcheung77 - 01-06-2022

Hmm, I was on EdX just at first and noticed they've expanded their degree offerings.  They seem to have a few more than I last recalled, it is interesting though they've added Health/Social Services Degrees too!  I haven't checked out the pricing or providers yet, there may be a deal or two with these...  Essentially, they now offer from Micro Bachelors/Masters to Bachelors, Masters, and now Doctorate degrees!

I think all the "new" offerings are just ads essentially. They're not upfront with costs and just have a link to "view degree on school page." They also added a bunch of tech "bootcamps" that just link to the school pages and coincidentally, all look nearly identical except for the school-specific branding, colors, logo, etc. Not a fan of where edx is heading.

It's because a lot of university bootcamps are through Trilogy Education, which 2U acquired in 2019.

Makes sense. I figured those programs had to be outsourced to a single provider.
