Wanted to Give Thanks - TINASAM - 12-22-2021

I came here after a google search put me on a thread off this forum. From that I had a ton of questions, a lot of misdirection, and a general sense of really not knowing what I wanted to do or where I was going to do it. Here is my story and how this forum has played its part in it.
From February to June, I did Sophia credits hardcore. Used those and a handful of very, very old B&M college credits to get the Pierpont C&TC BOG associate degree that was issued in August of 2021. That late Spring/Summer/into Early Fall I hopped around degree plans at Eastern Gateway (And I really loved that school) and took those credits, the Sophia credits, and the B&M credits to enroll in Franklin in Fall of 2021. I was able to transfer in over 60% of the bachelor degree at Franklin.
I'm taking the maximum credits allowed there and will finish in Fall of 2022. Then I will be enrolling in a semi-local college for a Master of Arts in Teaching that will finish May of 2024. So an Associate, Bachelor, and Master in roughly three years.
So far I've maintained a 4.0 GPA, and I truly owe it all to you guys' guidance even though I didn't go to any of the Big 3, your general conversations and your insight into alternative credits really made the biggest difference in the speed that I was going to be able to do these.
I very, very much appreciate y'all.

It's awesome to hear about students being able to achieve their goals thanks to this forum! Getting to a Master's degree from almost 0 credits in 3 years is a major accomplishment. Good luck on your future Master's degree! Smile

I think I had like 12 credits that were above a C. Eastern didn't take ANY Sophia. But I'm still reading and learning more every day here.

Congrats on getting your foot into the door with the BOG AAS! It's great you're continuing onwards with the BS at Franklin! You're on a roll, keep up the good work and pace yourself... Hope you have a great New Year and happy studies, good luck, have fun! I agree, completing your degrees in just 3 years time is not an easy feat... it's also so much rewarding knowing you'll hit that finish line soon!

DF opens your eyes to what's possible similar to the scene in The Matrix movie where Neo is challenged to jump from one building to the next.

I always thought Matrix was an old peoples movie because it was from before I was born, but I watched it after I saw Ressurections and its not bad and makes a lot of sense.

But does it mean that BJCheung is Morpheus?

Nah, I'm "Nobody". I watched this movie a few months ago, interesting one for sure... - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7888964/

What made you choose Franklin? I'm looking at a grad program from them.
