"Milestones" incomplete - TennisCoach - 12-17-2021 Hi everyone. Today is the last day for submitting anything. I have submitted my last final paper today and hopefully I pass the class. My question is: I have 4 milestones undone from a previous class on which I've passed the multiple choice final and it shows "mastered" but like I said the milestones are not done. Do I HAVE to complete them? If I don't will it affect my grade? I remember Cody had sent an email before saying that milestones had to be completed as well and today is the deadline for that. I asked him today and he told me that if a class shows "mastered" I don't have to do anything else. So I understand that I'm not required to complete those milestones, am I right? Thanks for the clarification. RE: "Milestones" incomplete - ss20ts - 12-17-2021 Yes, you must complete all of the Milestones in every course. They are not optional. It's weird that your course says you've mastered it. Does it show 100% completed on your Dashboard? RE: "Milestones" incomplete - NoStudentNoCry - 12-17-2021 Happened to me too. However, it doesn't matter you "mastered" (100% completion) the course, you MUST turn in milestones anyways. Milestones do not contribute to the final grade, but if you skip them, you'll have to retake the class the next session. Please talk to Cody again and explicitly mention that you DID NOT turn in milestones. I bet you don't want to find yourself be unpleasantly surprised getting an F in the end of the session because of skipped milestones. RE: "Milestones" incomplete - ashkir - 12-17-2021 Technically the final isn't supposed to open unti lyou complete the master's. That was a bug in their system that happens now/then. If you can quickly do milestones before the class closes, do them. Even if it's a semi-response. A professor may just approve them to b e done with the class. RE: "Milestones" incomplete - TennisCoach - 12-18-2021 Yes, I've completed them anyways... but its strange, I had this class in term 1 that had heavy milestones and to which the professor never responded or affirmed even though I messaged her couple of times. RE: "Milestones" incomplete - Ann7 - 12-18-2021 What happens if you did all the milestones but didn't wait to get the last one affirmed before taking your exam? As long as you did your part, you’re good. I’ve had a few professors that affirmed the milestones long after I’ve finished the course. If I had waited for them to affirm it I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to complete the amount of courses that I did. RE: "Milestones" incomplete - TennisCoach - 12-18-2021 Make sense yes. Actually, term 2 is done and I have milestones that I've completed in term 1 but to this date have not been affirmed yet! RE: "Milestones" incomplete - rachel83az - 12-18-2021 Fingers crossed, I hope you've successfully completed your degree, TennisCoach!
