GEC questions - acethroughcollege - 11-14-2021

Does anyone have any ACE suggestions for GEC requirement 2D?

Learning Objectives D

Students will be able to produce a tangible expression of creativity.
Also I was wondering if UMPI accepts CSM Learn and if it is a GEC or not.

Thanks
Ace

Study.com Humanities 201: Critical Thinking & Analysis fits there I think:

That's one of the courses that most have taken at UMPI. It's not an art studio class at UMPI. There is Humanities 201 on Study.com. But keep in mind at UMPI it's 1 paper. Some Study.com courses have multiple written assignments.

103 at UMPI was easy

Here is what UMPI has accepted from CMSLearn in the past:

CSML 0001
The CSM Certficiate
GEL 1XX
General Elective

I wouldn't waste my time with it. I'd stick with Sophia for most of the GEC requirements. Study.com for the bio with lab requirement and InstantCert for Spanish 1 and Americna Government.

Yup, I would recommend taking the HUM103 at UMPI to round out the 10 or so courses you need, taking the "easier lower level/upper level combo" to get you the 30 RA and residency credits is what you want.

This!
Humanities 201 at SDC has 3 papers (1500, 1500, and 2500 words) AND a proctored final.
HUM 103 at UMPI only has 1 short paper (at least 5 pages, which is roughly 1500-2000 words) and no exam.
