TESU Bachelor’s Canadian equivalency - elenlushk - 09-27-2021 I was wondering if anyone has submitted their TESU bachelors degree to an academic evaluation service before? I’m looking into Canadian schools at the moment and was wondering if my TESU bachelors degree would have issues being equivalent to a Canadian bachelors degree due to my transcript showing too many transfer credits? Only the corner stone and capstone would have a GPA. RE: TESU Bachelor’s Canadian equivalency - rachel83az - 09-27-2021 IIRC, it might. AFAIK, Canada is even worse about degree acceptance in general than the US is. Possibly even worse than Germany is. But I could be misremembering that. RE: TESU Bachelor’s Canadian equivalency - Cofffeee - 09-27-2021 The only way u can know, evaluate it. In theory it should be good since its RA. Canada has also online degrees, so its not an issue. B ut there is no guarantee, so unless u evaluate u will not know for sure. I won't get my degree until march so it's a bit of waiting since evaluation takes over a month. a bit anxious now as I wonder if IIRC will accept it! RE: TESU Bachelor’s Canadian equivalency - Cofffeee - 09-27-2021 I dont think u will have issues. Its RA which is the most important. Keep us posted RE: TESU Bachelor’s Canadian equivalency - elenlushk - 09-27-2021 (09-27-2021, 08:57 PM)Cofffeee Wrote: I dont think u will have issues. Its RA which is the most important. I hope so! fingers crossed. will do, thank you!! RE: TESU Bachelor’s Canadian equivalency - bjcheung77 - 09-28-2021 Which grad school are you looking at and which program? There are 4 schools that this wouldn't be an issue at all since they are RA (NWCCU), the majority shouldn't be an issue either. Then you've got the "Top Tier" schools that have competitive admissions, you might want to get all your bases covered by reviewing their requirements for the degree (minus the GPA section, work on the rest). RE: TESU Bachelor’s Canadian equivalency - nomaduser - 10-05-2021 If you want to go to Canada, then why don't you get a degree from Athabasca University? Athabasca is Canada's most popular online degree school https://www.athabascau.ca/ Not sure if they accept any ACE credit though University of Ottawa (Canada) offers online master's degree too: https://online.uottawa.ca/ Try to get online master from Canadian universities lol RE: TESU Bachelor’s Canadian equivalency - Cofffeee - 10-06-2021 Athabasca is very pricey. I guess most of us here are not willing to pay huge amounts for education RE: TESU Bachelor’s Canadian equivalency - bjcheung77 - 10-06-2021 I would refrain from Athabasca, even though they are RA and the largest online provider. I would search out some programs in the US first, if nothing attracts you (in cost, ease, speed to finish), then look at the local schools closest to you. I would only recommend Athabasca or any other Canadian university if you get a scholarship or if no other university provides that Masters degree offering. |
