A question about TESC! - AdrianPeterson - 04-22-2008 Hi everyone, I have a question about CLEP. My question is. Does anyone know how much Thomas Edison State College charges to transfer in Clep credits. You know something along the lines of 5 dollars a credit. or 60 dollars for test. I was just wondering how much it costs. I plan to get my degree through them. Also does anybody know the going rate for EC and Charter Oak. Thank you everyone for your help. Adrian. A question about TESC! - Greggy_D - 04-22-2008 EC does not charge you a fee to transfer in CLEP or DSST credits. A question about TESC! - bawhitsett - 04-22-2008 TESC doesn't charge either, just have your results sent to them and they grant credit accordingly. A question about TESC! - Farmerboy - 04-22-2008 You have to pay $20 to both CLEP and Dantes to send your transcripts to the college of your choice. A question about TESC! - Inwe - 04-22-2008 The deal is you pay CLEP or Dantes $20 and they send your transcript to TESC. You enroll at TESC pay their various fees, but they do not charge you to apply CLEP/Dantes credits towards your degree. This is free. So, if you use that option, there are no costs at all- because TESC won't charge to transcript your credits. It's a win-win situation! (The $20 is if you later want a CLEP transcript sent somewhere) |
