TESU - PLA and credits. - 000 - 05-18-2021 Do credits earned through PLA count towards the minimum of 30 credits from an accredited school for the BA CS degree? RE: TESU - PLA and credits. - rachel83az - 05-18-2021 I'm not sure but I don't think that they do. TESU - PLA and credits. - ROYISAGIRL - 05-19-2021 They counted for my Environmental Studies and Natural Sciences and Mathematics degree. (I PLA'd a good percentage of it). I am also military so I think this is why it counted. Sent from my SM-G981V using DegreeForum.net mobile app RE: TESU - PLA and credits. - dfrecore - 05-19-2021 I went back to look at their wording, and they specifically limit it to 45/90 credits of ACE/NCCRS - so I think that PLA counts as RA - actually as credit that TESU itself gives. Now, it's not residency credit, but it still should be considered RA credit for TESU's purposes. When discussing tuition for it, it's listed with TECEP's, which also count as RA but not residency: https://www.tesu.edu/tuition/pla-tuition RE: TESU - PLA and credits. - bjcheung77 - 05-19-2021 If you're referring to doing the PLA at TESU, yes it will count towards the Regionally Accredited 30 credits requirement. However, if you're referring to completing a PLA elsewhere and transferring it into TESU - it all depends on how TESU finds that transfer... In either case, they will not fit the Residency Waiver requirements of 16 credits. |
