Medical Terminolgoy TECEP - natshar - 03-23-2021

I signed up for the medical terminology tecep solely to keep my catalog since it was the cheapest option.

I thought it might be fun to take the tecep since I enjoy learning and I paid for the test, so why not at least try.

But I don't want to take it if it requires a huge amount of studying and prep to pass. I am an average test taker and currently know basically nothing about medical terms.

Anyone who took was the test what was your experience? Was it difficult? How much did you study/prepare for it?

I took it so that I could have first-hand experience with Proctor U. I did not prepare for it at all with the exception of taking the practice exam on SDC. I passed. If you have a very basic knowledge of Latin and/or Greek roots + passing familiarity with the body, it should be relatively easy. It helped that I had just finished ASU's Human Origins class which used a lot of medical-type terms to describe the fossils. Remember that neph- has to do with the kidneys, cardiac = heart, etc.
