Weber State: Free 1 Credit Course: Why Are We So Polarized? - eriehiker - 03-12-2021 Weber State University has a free one-credit course with the title "Why are we so polarized?" This appears to be a synchronized one hour twice weekly course offered via Zoom and Google Meet. https://www.standard.net/news/education/weber-state-offers-free-community-course-on-americas-polarization/article_31f2f08d-6f3e-503a-9c1b-ad6ca8c98d8d.html https://continue.weber.edu/communityed/Class_Info.aspx?CRN=213035581&&abbr=CES1506 RE: Weber State: Free 1 Credit Course: Why Are We So Polarized? - TINASAM - 03-12-2021 (03-12-2021, 09:15 PM)eriehiker Wrote: Weber State University has a free one-credit course with the title "Why are we so polarized?" Where did you see that it is one-credit? I'm missing it. Trying to see what type of credit it is RE: Weber State: Free 1 Credit Course: Why Are We So Polarized? - eriehiker - 03-12-2021 From the article: "Each class session will last around 45 minutes, Matt said. It will be held over Zoom and Google Meet video conferencing platforms. If they attend each class, participants can earn one free credit from Weber State. Anyone who is interested can sign up at continue.weber.edu/communityed." RE: Weber State: Free 1 Credit Course: Why Are We So Polarized? - TINASAM - 03-12-2021 Thank you for pointing that out, I totally didn't see it/missed it when I skimmed the article. No college credit for this course. (Verified!) - mike01119 - 03-18-2021 I just received email back from WSU and they explained that because it is a community education course there are no credits issued for any of their CE courses. This proves that even the media fucks up from time to time. |
