Long Term Sophia Users, Got a Question - TINASAM - 03-09-2021 I see "New" by a few of the courses. How often does Sophia get in new courses? A few a year? A few a month? RE: Long Term Sophia Users, Got a Question - rachel83az - 03-09-2021 They've added, IIRC, 3 since last June (give or take). Business Law, Principles of Finance, Communication at Work. I have no idea why Art History II, The Essentials of Managing Conflict, and English Comp II have the "new" label. Conflict is at least 3 years old by this point. Maybe they redid it and that counts in their system? RE: Long Term Sophia Users, Got a Question - TINASAM - 03-09-2021 Ahhh so very rarely do they have new things. Thank you for the insight RE: Long Term Sophia Users, Got a Question - Kab - 03-09-2021 (03-09-2021, 09:22 AM)TINASAM Wrote: Ahhh so very rarely do they have new things.3 courses in 8 month is not so bad. Truth. But it also isn't "frequently" i.e. every month or so. Still, the thought of 3-4 new classes coming up is nice to know RE: Long Term Sophia Users, Got a Question - StoicJ - 03-09-2021 (03-09-2021, 09:22 AM)TINASAM Wrote: Ahhh so very rarely do they have new things. I did a couple of free 1-credit courses with them in April 2017. I really might be wrong on this, but I feel like they had 10 or fewer classes back then and they were around $300 each? So, they it seems they've added quite a few over the last couple of years, and they are certainly much less expensive. My hope is that they add at least 2 more interesting courses before the end of this year. RE: Long Term Sophia Users, Got a Question - Pats20 - 03-09-2021 If they would add American govt to their menu you could essentially get all your gen ed through them. RE: Long Term Sophia Users, Got a Question - ss20ts - 03-09-2021 I wouldn't go by the word new being on a graphic. Some have said new for over a year. |
